Salary: £45-51k (FTE) / £36-41k (actual)
Hours: 30 hours a week (flexible on preferred days)

Job Description: Senior Mental Health Clinician

Battersea Healthcare Community Interest Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our team in Wandsworth. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The post holder will be responsible for the development of a Primary Care Brief Intervention Service working in partnership with our Community Adult Health Services team and the Primary Care Networks and Practices.

The role will incorporate assessment, planning and implementation of treatment and interventions for people with complex care needs and anxiety related disorders and act as a liaison role with primary care establishing clear pathways for referrals.

You will be able to use a range of psychological models, strategies and techniques, such as goal setting, motivational interviewing, anxiety management, cognitive behavioural therapy and solution focused therapy to enhance the self-promotion and well-being of individuals and introduce positive change to their lives to enable a better quality of life.

You will need to be an imaginative and strategic thinker, inspirational and determined in your approach and exceptional in your ability to influence others.  You will bring new ways of working to embrace this exciting opportunity.

The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.
