An exciting opportunity has arisen within Wandsworth GP federation ( Battersea Healthcare Community Interest Company) for a Community Adult Health Services (CAHS) Clinical Lead.
The role holder will work closely with our governance team to monitor and oversee the Wandsworth community adult health services provider (CLCH) ensuring that it continually meets and exceeds, where possible, clinical quality standards. They will act as a clinical champion for the organisation. The role holder will also be involved in the design and implementation of new CAHS services and clinical pathways.

Battersea Healthcare is a GP practice-owned community interest company and social enterprise set up to provide quality healthcare for all the people of Wandsworth. We are looking for a highly credible Director of Service Delivery and Development (DSDD).
The person who will thrive with us will be energetic and determined. He or she will champion our services and continue the strong and trusted reputation of our company. She or he will have lot of experience overseeing or deputising on complex healthcare projects whilst keeping ongoing workflows on point with staff. The ability also to build solid and trusted relationships with our federation partners including our executive board and non-executive members. We are a community interest company and engage with a positive dynamic, exploratory approach to the realisation of new healthcare projects. Uppermost, the person we seek needs to keep our strategic direction and day to day operations effective and balanced.
Battersea Healthcare has a record of providing patient-focused healthcare services, while working to improve the capability of the Wandsworth healthcare system to provide better services for its patients. We are a Training Hub (formerly a Community Education Provider Network (CEPN)) on behalf of Health Education England (HEE). We innovate and develop services in line with our partners’ and commissioner’s needs.
Battersea Healthcare CIC was awarded the Multi-Speciality Community Provider (MCP) contract in October 2016. The MCP encompasses a range of contracts which will be sub-contracted through Battersea Healthcare as the lead provider including:
– Community Adult Health Services
– Planning All Care Together
– Enhanced Care Pathway
– Community Diagnostics
– End of Life Care
– 8-8 Access
In addition to this, Battersea Healthcare CIC also holds direct contracts for MSK services in Battersea.
The post holder will be responsible for Contract Management and Performance; Workload Management; and Quality Assurance. She or he will also know how to effectively communicate, engage and lead all layers of staff, as well as be expected to cover for the Chief Executive in his absence.
Most of the time (70%), the role holder will be leading and supporting the delivery of robust financial, contractual, engagement, and business systems with the support of their management team. This is to ensure Battersea Healthcare CIC (BHCIC) is a viable, effectively managed and responsible business delivering high quality services. The remaining 30%, the role holder will be working collaboratively with the senior management and management team realising the strategic direction set by the Board. This is to ensure that we continue to be a forward looking and responsive organisation.
