There is a requirement for GPs and practice nurses to complete safeguarding adults training at level 3. Newly developed HEE online training is available for any health care professionals. This will provide 50% of the competencies for L3SGA. This is a free resource.
The remaining 50% is expected to be evidenced via attendance at seminars, events etc. NHSE guidance is expected soon on how this might be achieved.
The RCGP have developed 9 modules course on Mental Capacity Act that is specifically for doctors including primary care. Please create an account and you can access this free training.
