As a response to Covid-19 NHS South West London CCG needs to share important information, updates, announcements and alerts with our member practices. In order to reduce the email traffic and confusion, we have created a central SWL COVID portal on GP TeamNet where we will store and update all COVID communications including both local and national guidance – including all IT guides. There will be a resources page as well as a practice managers section and a useful contacts page. The central team will continue to update the pages as we go along.
GP TeamNet is a web based portal that can be easily accessed by staff at all levels from anywhere they are as long as they have an internet connection. The system has various functionalities that are useful at Practice, PCN, Federation and CCG and borough levels. An overview of the system and the benefits of using it are included in the attached slides. Practices and PCN’s can have their own portal to enable sharing of local information, sharing is managed by staff role so that you can ensure the right information is getting to the right people.
In some boroughs GP TeamNet is already a well-established tool and existing users will have access to the SWL COVID portal via your existing logins. Details of how to access the portal in included in the attached pack.
If your practice has never used GP TeamNet then you will shortly receive a separate email with details of how to get set up and how to access staff training. This email will go to the practice managers with the title: SWL GP TeamNet – New Users.
