Medical Terminology Parts 1, 2 & 3
These one-day courses provide an introduction to Medical Terminology and are aimed at non-clinical reception and administrative staff working in general practice.
PART 1: Introduction to medical terminology (preﬁxes, roots, sufﬁxes, structure of medical words), digestive system, cardiovascular system, breathing system, abbreviations.
PART 2: Female reproductive system, male reproductive system, urinary and renal system, eyes, ears, nose, skeletal system, pharmacology, more abbreviations.
PART 3: endocrine system, lymphatic system, nervous system, oncology, radiology and nuclear medicine, pathology laboratories, still more abbreviations.
NB: Attendees MUST have attended a Part 1 course before attending Part 2, and Parts 1&2 before attending Part 3.

Part 3: Friday 7th December 2018

Times: 9.30am to 4.00pm
