Welcome to the Wandsworth CEPN Education & Training home page. Here you will find  information about courses and workforce development opportunities for you and your team. Working with our partners; Health Education England (HEE) and the Wandsworth CCG, many of our courses are fully funded for our practices and partners. Video Arts

What it is? Video Arts offers a wide range of e-learning and short video clips making learning accessible, visual and fun! Management and personal development courses are available. When? The subscription service runs for 1 year 30/04/2018- 30/05/2019. Who is it for? All Wandsworth practice staff, clinical, non- clinical and medical, learners and trainers. What do i need to do? Practice Managers will need to add you to the system. Over the course of April and May 2018 we will be speaking to PMs about the process.

e-Learning for Healthcare

Funded by HEE, e-learning for healthcare (e-LfH) offers over 150 recognised education programmes for health & social care staff, including statutory and mandatory training.

Certificate in Leadership Management - Level 5

Fully funded by the Wandsworth CEPN, up to 15 spaces are available on this course.

The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management is an intensive 5-day programme, over 5 months covering the main elements of the role of a middle-manager or leader. The programme is suitable for clinical or non-clinical staff. Topics have been specifically selected to have most relevance and all examples are tailored to healthcare. The programme covers four modules:

> Becoming an effective leader – covering management and leadership theory, motivation, emotional intelligence and delegation

> Developing and leading teams – includes all aspect of team dynamics, how to work with different people and achieve goals through understanding the team

> Making a financial case – understanding the place of finance and the elementary financial terms and aspects, including costing a service improvement

> Managing improvement – focussing on quality and service improvements from identification of an issue through to resolution and implementation of a solution

Accreditation through the ILM carries 14 credits and is assessed through the completion of three assignments which focus on the transfer of the learning to the workplace and specifically each individual’s role.
